project overview

Designed a Save the Date promotional piece for The Shalom Club's Coming to America program, an event highlighting the immigration journeys of two local families. The objective was to generate early interest, communicate key event details, and create a welcoming design that reflected both the cultural significance of the program and the organization's community-focused mission.

objectives

Build awareness and anticipation for the upcoming event.

Clearly communicate the event's date, time, location, and registration information.

Reflect the program's themes of heritage, resilience, and community.

Create an eye-catching design that could be used across both print and digital platforms.

creative approach

Developed a vibrant design inspired by traditional Jewish motifs and celebratory elements to create an inviting and culturally meaningful visual experience. Decorative floral accents, symbolic illustrations, and a bold blue-and-gold color palette establish a warm, welcoming tone while reinforcing the event's cultural identity. The layout was designed with a strong visual hierarchy, leading viewers from the Save the Date announcement to the event title, essential details, and supporting description. Strategic typography and spacing ensure the information is easy to scan while maintaining an elegant, balanced composition.
